POMPON is a dog-character created by Polish Illustrator and Designer Przemek Sobocki.
Pompon with his I-do-not-care attitude has been appearing in Przemeks early works from time to time since his first published editorial The TOUCH in 125 magazine (UK) in 2004, for which he received V&A Illustration Award.
Przemek has been working mostly in fashion and design fields, creating editorials, packaging, window displays and space design for international clients such Bally, Louis Vuitton, Alain Mikli, Shiseido to name few, and magazines like Numero Tokyo, Vogue Japan, Commons&Sense Magazine, ELLE Japon and more.
Przemek, currently based in Tokyo, balances his work and time between Asia and Europe,
constantly looking for new professional challenges.
POMPON mostly as a silent witness, an ignorant-companion in everyday life, has just recently reappeared in Przemek`s works, enjoying new “life” and his new fans base… and most of all he has finally got his own proper name. He hardly ever talks but all you need to know is in his eyes and his attitude. Just watch him closely and enjoy new stickers!!!
